The Forsyth Panthers routed the visiting Spokane Owls softball squad by a count of 6-0 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Strafford (Strafford, MO). The Indians go into the Class 2 District 5 battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Strafford nudged Buffalo (Buffalo, MO), 5-4, in a non-league battle.
