Alabama High School Softball - Ariton nudges Long
March 16, 2024: Skipperville, AL 36374 Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Long Rebels (Skipperville, AL), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Purple Cats now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Geneva for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16.
With the loss, Long falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Rebels host Enterprise (Enterprise, AL) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 5-6. Enterprise won 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Dothan (Dothan, AL)
