Louisiana High School Softball - Simpson bounces Georgetown
March 16, 2024: Simpson, LA 71446 Simpson Broncos (Simpson, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, LA), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Broncos now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Negreet for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. Simpson will battle a Indians squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA). The Indians record now stands at 3-12.
With the loss, Georgetown falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Hornbeck (Hornbeck, LA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Hornbeck won 21-12 in their recent league challenge against Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, LA)
