March 17, 2022: Augusta, GA 30906 Laney Wildcats (Augusta, GA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Glenn Hills Spartans (Augusta, GA), 5-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats face the Johnson Panthers (Augusta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 24. Laney will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 9-0 league loss to Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA).
The Spartans now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oglethorpe County for a AA Region 4 challenge on Monday, March 28. Glenn Hills will face a Patriots team coming off a 9-0 league win over Johnson (Augusta, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 9-2.
