Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting White River Tigers (White River, SD), 57-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lower Brule upgrades its record to 22-3 on the season. The Sioux travel to DeSmet (DeSmet, SD) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 18. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 22-3. DeSmet won 46-31 in their recent non-league bout against Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Aberdeen Christian Knights (Aberdeen, SD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 18. White River will attempt to upgrade on its 21-5 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 22-3 record after their 46-31 non-league loss to DeSmet (DeSmet, SD).
