White River Tigers (White River, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lakota Tech Tatanka (Pine Ridge, SD), 52-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, White River upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Rapid City Christian won 73-66 in their recent non-league bout against Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD)
