North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Mountain Island Charter drops to Sun Valley

March 17, 2025: Monroe, NC 28110

The Mountain Island Charter Raptors lacrosse team (Mt. Holly, NC), was overwhelmed 16-2 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC)

With the victory, Sun Valley advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Butler (Matthews, NC) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 2-5. Butler lost 17-0 in their recent league battle against Providence (Charlotte, NC)

The Raptors now sport a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patton for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 20. Mountain Island Charter will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 18-0 league loss to Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 0-5.
