The Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) lacrosse routed the host Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC), 16-4 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Spartans now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Stephens for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 20. Sun Valley will face a Indians squad coming off a 17-0 non-league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Indians record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Butler falls to 2-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC) to face the Cougars in a Southwestern/So Meck outing on Monday, March 24. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 3-4.
