Georgia High School Baseball - Sonoraville loses to Northwest Whitfield
March 18, 2024: Calhoun, GA 30701 The Northwest Whitfield Bruins baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Sonoraville Phoenix to 1 in the Bruins league victory on Monday.
The Bruins (12-2) will now prepare for their match against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA). The Raiders go into the 4A Area 7 match with a 5-13 record. In their last match, Southeast Whitfield County gained a win over Chattooga (Summerville, GA), 13-12, in a non-league match.
The Phoenix (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Central (Carrollton, GA). The Lions go into the 4A Area 7 match with a 5-9 record. In their last match, Central was overwhelmed by Cedartown (Cedartown, GA), 9-6, in a league match.
