Georgia High School Baseball - Cedartown defeats Northwest Whitfield
March 29, 2024: Cedartown, GA 30125 Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA), 8-2 in a league test.
With the win, Cedartown upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Woodland (Cartersville, GA) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, April 4. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 10-8. Woodland lost 7-6 in their recent non-league bout against McEachern (Powder Springs, GA)
Next, the Bruins face the Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 2. Northwest Whitfield will attempt to move on its 15-5 season record.
