Georgia High School Baseball - Thomson wallops Josey
March 18, 2025: Thomson, GA 30824 The Thomson Bulldogs baseball team scored 20 runs and held the visiting Josey Eagles to 1 in the Bulldogs league win on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now hold a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Swainsboro for a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. Thomson will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-2.
With the defeat, Josey drops to 4-4 on the year. The Eagles host Glenn Hills (Augusta, GA) to play the Spartans in a AA Region 4 test on Friday, March 21. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 0-5. Glenn Hills lost 23-7 in their recent league test against Butler (Augusta, GA)
