March 18, 2025: Summerfield, LA 71079 The Saline Bobcats baseball team scored 24 runs and held the host Summerfield Rebels to 6 in the Bobcats non-league win on Tuesday.
The Bobcats now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Castor for a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. Saline will play a Tigers team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Quitman (Quitman, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-6.
With the defeat, Summerfield drops to 0-7 on the year. The Rebels host Claiborne Christian (West Monroe, LA) to play the Crusaders in a C District 1 test on Thursday, March 20. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 2-7. Claiborne Christian lost 15-0 in their recent non-league test against Choudrant (Choudrant, LA)
