North Carolina High School Soccer - Parkwood knocks off Anson
March 18, 2025: Monroe, NC 28112 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) and the visiting Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), saw Parkwood's soccer squad triumph over Anson by a score of 9-0.
The Wolf Pack (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals enter the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Union Academy ran past North Stanly (New London, NC), 9-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Bearcats confront the Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A battle, on Thursday, March 20. Anson will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Redhawks enter the battle with a 0-4 record after their 9-0 league loss to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC).
