In Tuesday's non-league test, the James Buchanan Rockets (Mercersburg, PA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fairfield Knights (Fairfield, PA), by a tally of 16-1.

Next, the Rockets clash with the Northern York Polar Bears (Dillsburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Colonial test, on Monday, March 24. James Buchanan will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Polar Bears go into the test with a 3-0 record after their 10-1 non-league win over Berks Catholic (Reading, PA).

The Knights (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Bermudian Springs (York Springs, PA). The Eagles go into the York-Adams 3 test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Bermudian Springs was routed by Big Spring (Newville, PA), 18-0, in a non-league test.
