Missouri High School Softball - Southwest nudges Billings
March 19, 2024: Washburn, MO 64656 Southwest Trojans (Washburn, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Billings Wildcats (Billings, MO), 22-21 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Blue Eye for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. Southwest will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 18-1 non-league loss to Seymour (Seymour, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Billings falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Lockwood (Lockwood, MO) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Lockwood won 19-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Osceola (Osceola, MO)
