The Surry Central Golden Eagles baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Alleghany Trojans to 0 in the Golden Eagles non-league win on Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host Providence Grove for a non-league test on Saturday, March 22. Surry Central will play a Patriots team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, Alleghany drops to 1-7 on the year. The Trojans host Maplewood (Guys Mills, PA) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, March 21. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-0.
