The Castleberry Lions softball squad (Fort Worth, TX), was routed 17-0 in Thursday's league contest with the host Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX)

With the triumph, Springtown improves its record to 11-9 on the year. The Porcupines travel to Decatur (Decatur, TX) to face the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 7 contest on Friday, March 20. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 5-6. Decatur lost 5-3 in their recent league contest against Eagle Mountain (Fort Worth, TX)

The Lions now hold a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Burkburnett for a 4A Region I District 7 bout on Friday, March 20. Castleberry will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 21-0 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-8.
