In Friday's league test, the Eagle Mountain Knights (Fort Worth, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX), by a tally of 18-1.

Next, the Knights clash with the Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) in a 4A Region I District 7 test, on Tuesday, March 17. Eagle Mountain will attempt to advance on its 14-7 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 5-5 record after their 4-1 league win over Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX).

The Lions (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Springtown (Springtown, TX). The Porcupines go into the 4A Region I District 7 test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Springtown prevailed over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX), 22-0, in a league test.
