In Thursday's league game, the visiting Foothill Knights baseball team scored a close 2-0 win over the El Modena Vanguards.

The Knights (8-2) will now prepare for their game against West Linn (West Linn, OR). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, West Linn nudged Barlow (Gresham, OR), 10-0, in a non-league game.

Next, the Vanguards play the Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 25. El Modena will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Comanches go into the game with a 7-4 record after their 3-1 league win over La Habra (La Habra, CA).
