The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ) and the visiting Pomona Panthers (Arvada, CO), saw Mingus's baseball team gain a win over Pomona by a tally of 17-1.

The Marauders (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Evergreen (Evergreen, CO). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Evergreen defeated Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ), 7-4, in a non-league battle.
