March 20, 2025: Springfield, VA 22152 West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, West Springfield advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Falls Church (Falls Church, VA) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 0-2. Falls Church lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Chantilly (Chantilly, VA)
The Eagles now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Robinson for a non-league test on Monday, March 24. Edison will clash with a Rams team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Yorktown (Arlington, VA). The Rams record now stands at 1-2.
