March 20, 2025: Alexandria, VA 22309 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) and the host Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA), saw West Potomac's soccer squad prevail over Mount Vernon by a count of 5-1.
The Wolverines (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lewis (Springfield, VA). The Lancers enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Lewis Wakefield (Arlington, VA), 2-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Majors battle the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 27. Mount Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Highlanders enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Centreville (Clifton, VA).
