Virginia High School Soccer - Mount Vernon nudges Langley
May 5, 2025: Alexandria, VA 22309 In Monday's non-league outing, the host Mount Vernon Majors soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Langley Saxons.
The Majors (3-9) will now prepare for their outing against Annandale (Annandale, VA). The Atoms go into the National outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Annandale got by Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Saxons confront the Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA) in a Liberty outing, on Wednesday, May 7. Langley will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 6-3 record after their 2-1 league loss to Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA).
