March 27, 2025: McLean, VA 22101 The McLean Highlanders soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Mount Vernon Majors to 0 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Thursday.
The Highlanders now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Washington-Liberty for a Liberty bout on Tuesday, April 1. McLean will play a Generals squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA). The Generals record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Mount Vernon moves to 0-3 on the year. The Majors travel to Westfield (Chantilly, VA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 2. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Westfield won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA)
