With the victory, Coal City moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Coalers host Morris (Morris, IL) to confront the Redskins in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 24. The Redskins enter the bout with a record of 2-1. Morris lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Herscher (Herscher, IL)
In their next game, the Knights confront the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, March 23. Chicago Christian will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Comets enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Wilmington (Wilmington, IL).
