The Bishop O'Connell Knights baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting DeMatha Stags to 4 in the Knights league win on Friday.

The Knights now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host The Heights for a Washington Catholic test on Saturday, March 22. Bishop O'Connell will play a team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, DeMatha drops to 5-2 on the year. The Stags travel to Moody (Moody, AL) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Monday, March 24. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 11-8. Moody won 4-3 in their recent league test against St. Clair County (Odenville, AL)
