South Dakota High School Basketball - Viborg/Hurley holds off St. Mary
March 21, 2025: Dell Rapids, SD 57022 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Viborg/Hurley Cougars basketball team scored a close 56-49 triumph over the St. Mary Cardinals.
The Cougars (25-2) will now prepare for their contest against Castlewood (Castlewood, SD). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 23-3 record. In their last contest, Castlewood nipped Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD), 64-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals confront the Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 22. St. Mary will attempt to better on its 23-2 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 22-3 record after their 64-45 non-league loss to Castlewood (Castlewood, SD).
