The Hoggard Vikings crushed the visiting North Brunswick Scorpions baseball team by a count of 12-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host South Brunswick for a Mideastern 3A/4A bout on Friday, March 25. Hoggard will face a Cougars team coming off a 11-7 league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-0.
