In Friday's league game, the host Pioneer Diamondbacks baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the McAllen Bulldogs.

The Diamondbacks (15-5) will now prepare for their game against McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region IV District 31 game with a 11-8 record. In their last game, McAllen Memorial was overwhelmed by Sharyland (Mission, TX), 5-4, in a league game.
