Sharyland Rattlers (Mission, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host McAllen Bulldogs (McAllen, TX), 13-1 in a league test.

With the win, Sharyland upgrades its record to 16-9 on the season. The Rattlers travel to Pioneer (Mission, TX) to battle the Diamondbacks in a 5A Region IV District 31 test on Tuesday, April 23. The Diamondbacks come into the test with a record of 22-5. Pioneer won 7-3 in their recent league test against Vela (Edinburg, TX)

With the defeat, McAllen falls to 15-11 on the season. The Bulldogs host Valley View (Pharr, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 5A Region IV District 31 test on Tuesday, April 23. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 13-11. Valley View won 4-1 in their recent league test against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX)
