March 22, 2024: London, KY 40744 South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY), 10-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Harlan County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 23.
With the loss, Russell County falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Lakers host Danville (Danville, KY) to battle the Admirals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 23. The Admirals enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Danville won 26-15 in their recent non-league challenge against Burgin (Burgin, KY)
