March 22, 2025: Columbia, MD 21044 In Saturday's non-league test, the Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD) softball squad overwhelmed the host Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD), by a tally of 18-7.
Next, the Gophers meet the Broadneck Bruins (Annapolis, MD) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 25. Glen Burnie will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Bruins go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 9-7 non-league win over Easton (Easton, MD).
The Raiders (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Howard (Ellicott City, MD). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Howard was routed by Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD), 17-3, in a non-league test.
