Arkansas High School Softball - Yellville-Summit bounces Norfork
March 22, 2025: Yellville, AR 72687 The Yellville-Summit Panthers softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Norfork Panthers to 1 in the Panthers non-league win on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cave City for a 3A Region 2 battle on Monday, March 31. Yellville-Summit will confront a Cavemen team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Melbourne (Melbourne, AR). The Cavemen record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Norfork moves to 1-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Lead Hill (Lead Hill, AR) to play the Tigers in a 1A Region 1 game on Monday, March 31. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 0-3. Lead Hill lost 18-4 in their recent league game against Jasper (Jasper, AR)
