Arkansas High School Softball - Calico Rock Yellville-Summit
March 29, 2025: Yellville, AR 72687 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Calico Rock Pirates softball team scored a tight 6-3 victory over the Yellville-Summit Panthers.
The Pirates (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Viola (Viola, AR). The Longhorns go into the 1A Region 2 match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Viola tipped Shirley (Shirley, AR), 19-11, in a league match.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Cave City Cavemen (Cave City, AR) in a 3A Region 2 match, on Monday, March 31. Yellville-Summit will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Cavemen go into the match with a 6-2 record after their 15-0 league loss to Melbourne (Melbourne, AR).
