Arkansas High School Softball - Cave City bounces Calico Rock
March 18, 2025: Calico Rock, AR 72519 The Cave City Cavemen (Cave City, AR) softball routed the host Calico Rock Pirates (Calico Rock, AR), 11-5 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Cavemen now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Melbourne for a 3A Region 2 outing on Thursday, March 20. Cave City will encounter a Bearkatz team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Salem (Salem, AR). The Bearkatz record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Calico Rock moves to 4-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to Viola (Viola, AR) to encounter the Longhorns in a 1A Region 2 outing on Monday, March 31. The Longhorns come into the outing with a record of 5-0. Viola won 19-11 in their recent league outing against Shirley (Shirley, AR)
