The Parkview Baptist Eagles softball squad (Baton Rouge, LA), was routed 13-9 in Monday's non-league contest with the host East Ascension Spartans (Gonzales, LA)

With the triumph, East Ascension improves its record to 13-7 on the year. The Spartans travel to Walker (Walker, LA) to face the Wildcats in a 5A District 5 contest on Tuesday, March 25. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 15-4. Walker won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Northlake Christian (Covington, LA)

The Eagles now hold a 11-9 record. They play next when they host St. Joseph's Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 27. Parkview Baptist will face a Redstickers squad coming off a 22-0 league win over Scotlandville (Baton Rouge, LA). The Redstickers record now stands at 6-10.
