The Carson Cougars the host Northwest Cabarrus Trojans baseball squad by a score of 5-1 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Davie County War Eagles (Mocksville, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, March 25. Carson will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The War Eagles go into the test with a 5-4 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Watauga (Boone, NC).

With the defeat, Northwest Cabarrus drops to 2-8 on the year. The Trojans travel to Carson (China Grove, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a South Piedmont 4A/5A test on Friday, March 27.
