With the triumph, Carson moves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to confront the Colts in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 10. The Colts come into the contest with a record of 3-0. West Stanly won 8-7 in their recent non-league contest against Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC)

The Hornets now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jay M. Robinson for a South Piedmont 4A/5A battle on Tuesday, March 17.
