Lytle Pirates (Lytle, TX) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad beat the host Dilley Wolves (Dilley, TX), 18-2 in a league test.

The Pirates now hold a 16-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hondo for a 3A Region IV District 28 test on Friday, March 27. Lytle will play a Owls team coming off a 8-5 league win over Crystal City (Crystal City, TX). The Owls record now stands at 15-6.

The Wolves (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Natalia (Natalia, TX). The Mustangs come into the 3A Region IV District 28 outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, Natalia toppled Cotulla (Cotulla, TX), 13-0, in a league outing.
