Florida High School Softball - Vanguard nudges Hagerty

March 25, 2023: Oviedo, FL 32765

Vanguard Knights (Ocala, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hagerty Huskies (Oviedo, FL), 8-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Port for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28. Vanguard will battle a Wolf Pack squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to South Sumter (Bushnell, FL). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Hagerty falls to 9-3 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Seminole (Sanford, FL) to battle the Seminoles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Seminoles enter the challenge with a record of 4-7. Seminole lost 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Winter Springs (Winter Springs, FL)
