In Monday's league challenge, the United Lions (Armagh, PA) baseball squad edged the host Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA), by a final score of 6-5.

With the win, United upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Lions host Purchase Line (Commodore, PA) to battle the Red Dragons in a Heritage challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Red Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Purchase Line lost 11-6 in their recent league challenge against Cambria Heights (Patton, PA)

With the defeat, Marion Center falls to 0-1 on the season. The Stingers travel to Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA) to battle the Colts in a Heritage challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Northern Cambria won 16-2 in their recent league challenge against West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA)
