The Southwestern Warriors routed the visiting Lincoln County Patriots softball squad by a final score of 15-5 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Warriors (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Russell County (Russell Springs, KY). The Lakers go into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Russell County notched a victory over Wayne County (Monticello, KY), 11-9, in a non-league battle.

The Patriots now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Campbellsville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 26. Lincoln County will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 13-9 non-league win over Danville Christian Academy (Danville, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 6-3.
