The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA) and the visiting McLane Highlanders (Fresno, CA), saw Hoover's baseball team get by McLane by a tally of 1-0.

The Patriots (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Sunnyside (Fresno, CA). The Wildcats enter the North Yosemite battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Sunnyside was tipped by Roosevelt (Fresno, CA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Highlanders face the Torres Toros (Madera, CA) in a North Yosemite battle, on Friday, March 28. McLane will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Toros enter the battle with a 3-8 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Coalinga (Coalinga, CA).
