The Hoover Patriots baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Madera South Stallions to 0 in the Patriots league win on Saturday.

The Patriots now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host McLane for a North Yosemite test on Tuesday, March 25. Hoover will play a Highlanders team coming off a 12-4 league loss to Sunnyside (Fresno, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 6-6.

With the defeat, Madera South drops to 1-8 on the year. The Stallions travel to Torres (Madera, CA) to play the Toros in a North Yosemite test on Tuesday, March 25. The Toros go into the test with a record of 2-7. Torres won 11-2 in their recent league test against Roosevelt (Fresno, CA)
