Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Selma Bears (Selma, CA), 7-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Hoover advances its record to 18-8 on the season. The Patriots travel to Hanford (Hanford, CA) to battle the Bullpups in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 21. The Bullpups come into the match with a record of 14-14. Hanford won 8-4 in their recent non-league match against Independence (Bakersfield, CA)

The Bears now have a 16-10 record.
