In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting McConnellsburg Spartans baseball team scored a nice 17-0 win over the North Star Cougars.

The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Windber (Windber, PA). The Ramblers go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Windber was overwhelmed by Rockwood (Rockwood, PA), 5-4, in a league game.

Next, the Cougars play the Williamsburg Blue Pirates (Williamsburg, PA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 27. North Star will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Blue Pirates go into the game with a 1-2 record after their 17-9 league loss to West Branch (Morrisdale, PA).
