March 25, 2025: Vinton, LA 70668 In Tuesday's league bout, the Vinton Lions (Vinton, LA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Pickering Red Devils (Leesville, LA), by a tally of 11-1.
Next up, the Lions encounter the Rosepine Eagles (Rosepine, LA) in a 2A District 4 bout, on Thursday, March 27. Vinton will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 15-7 record after their 17-0 non-league win over East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA).
The Red Devils (0-15) will now prepare for their bout against Negreet (Negreet, LA). The Indians enter the non-league bout with a 5-16 record. In their last bout, Negreet overcame Florien (Florien, LA), 2-1, in a league bout.
