In Thursday's league bout, the DeQuincy Tigers (DeQuincy, LA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Pickering Red Devils (Leesville, LA), by a tally of 15-0.

Next up, the Tigers encounter the Hackberry Mustangs (Hackberry, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 4. DeQuincy will attempt to upgrade on its 22-10 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 6-6 record after their 16-2 league win over South Cameron (Creole, LA).

With the defeat, Pickering drops to 2-16 on the year. The Red devils host Rosepine (Rosepine, LA) to play the Eagles in a 2A District 4 test on Tuesday, April 8. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 16-9.
