In Tuesday's non-league game, the host McDowell Titans baseball team scored a close 12-6 win over the Erwin Warriors.

The Titans (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Owen (Black Mountain, NC). The Warhorses go into the non-league game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Owen was overwhelmed by Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC), 15-5, in a non-league game.

Next, the Warriors play the McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 27. Erwin will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Titans go into the game with a 9-2 record after their 12-6 non-league win over Erwin (Asheville, NC).
