The McDowell Titans baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting A.C. Reynolds Rockets to 5 in the Titans non-league win on Friday.

The Titans now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Patton for a non-league test on Monday, March 17. McDowell will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, A.C. Reynolds drops to 3-2 on the year. The Rockets travel to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC) to clash with the Rams in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18.
